Citizens Advice Solihull Borough

Citizens Advice provides free, confidential and impartial advice and campaign on big issues affecting people’s lives, as part of the national network. Offices are in The Core, Solihull and Chelmsley Wood.

Citizenship Ceremonies

If you’ve applied for British citizenship, you will have to attend a citizenship ceremony. Solihull runs them in the council’s Civic Suite or you can have a private ceremony -you can apply online here.

Legal consultations and will writing services (AgeUK)

For older people, a free half-hour legal consultation is available with a local solicitor through Age UK. You can also book will writing services at a reduced rate. AgeUK are based in the Hubs at The Core, Solihull, and Chelmsley Wood Library.

Life in Great Britain

Life in Great Britain is an online study resource for candidates preparing for the Life in the UK Test or British citizenship test. Solihull library members can use this any time of day or night, its free for you to join.
