A Better Medway

Medway Council’s health improvement team work with individuals, businesses and the community as a whole to help us understand what health improvement services are needed and how best to deliver them. Healthwatch Medway

Healthwatch Medway is the independent consumer champion for health and care. It provides information and signposting to enable them to make choices about health and care services. It also signposts people to organisations that can assist them when health or social care provision has been less than satisfactory.

NHS Choices

This website is the main route to information and services from the NHS. In the Health A-Z section, you will find immediate links with buttons to a comprehensive health encyclopaedia and to Medicines information. You can also use the NHS Direct symptom checker to get information to help you decide if medical attention is required. In the Health Services near you section, you can easily search for local GPs, hospitals, dentists and other services, using place name or postcode.
