Online tools and a helpline that provide information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities. Perhaps you have just finished college or university and are considering your next move. You might be unhappy in your current job and ready for a change, but not sure what. You might have been out of work for a while and looking for job hunting tips. Whatever your situation, whatever your barriers, we’re here to help you overcome them and reach your potential.


Our Work Club offers job seekers the opportunity to evaluate their skill set, and to close gaps through up skilling in order to find employment. Our skilled and experienced trainers work with individuals over a 4 week period to help them to understand the current labour market, where to find vacancies and how to apply successfully for work opportunities. We offer training courses to help individuals to prepare themselves to gain employment. We can also help job seekers to remove barriers to employment such as; CSCS (Health and Safety test), and CSCS test and card Driving lessons Provisional licence Theory test Sage 50 Accounts part 1 and 2 Restaurant Hospitality and Food Hygiene Certificate Health and Social Care and Safeguarding Work Wear Safety Wear Asbestos Awareness COSHH Awareness Manual Handling Working at Height Fire Safety All of our services are free to the job seeker.

Riverside Learning and Education Centre

Provider of courses and apprenticeships, specialising in childcare training and teaching assistant training. Work with employers to improve skills levels, supplying training provision for their employees and creating job opportunities for their students. Learners gain jobs and the employers gain a highly skilled workforce to fulfil their business objectives with our support.

The Communiversity: free courses and activities

The Communiversity is based in Croxteth and offers activities and facilities to the local community. We are a lifelong learning centre. It is the home of the Library, most of the local Adult Learning classes and the Communi-café. We have a modern ICT suite, a recording studio and, the venue is used regularly as a Conference facility.
