Providing advice, information and representation on all aspects of Welfare Benefits and debt problems to residents of Halton including Macmillan Welfare Rights workers who specialise in helping people who are suffering with cancer to claim benefits and grants.

Welfare Rights Service - Halton Council

The Welfare Rights Service is a specialist team that provides free, confidential advice relating to benefits entitlements. The team have a dedicated direct line number that is answered 42 hours per week by advisors. Benefit checks can be performed if the full information is provided to make sure that your income is maximised. The team will also assist with the completion of benefits forms, and act as specialists in benefits appeals advice and give practical assistance if required. Representation at tribunal can be given if appropriate. Advice can be given on any welfare benefit, but the team are especially focussed on disability and carers benefits.

Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group is here for anyone in Halton who has been touched by cancer. If you would like advice on social or welfare benefits and support available we can arrange speedy appointments with specialist services.
