Simple savings and fairer loans for local people. ESCU are a not-for-profit saving and loans co-operative owned by their members. The perfect alternative to high interest lenders, ESCU help people with poor credit ratings or on low incomes – both in work or on benefits – to access manageable loans. They also offer an ethical saving option for members, who know their money will be used to help those in need in the local community.

Hastings and Rother Credit Union

A community based, non profit making, savings and loan organisation. Membership is open to those who live and/or work in the Hastings, St Leonards on Sea and Rother areas. Our 1000+ members regular savings provide a source of funds for those who wish to borrow to do so at a reasonable rate of interest.
