The Armed Forces Community Health and Wellbeing Team (AFCT) can help to assess needs and, if appropriate, liaise with local organisations to ensure personnel and their families receive support with issues such as health, welfare, housing and employment. Steps 2 Wellbeing

The Steps to Wellbeing Service is a free, confidential, NHS service for to people aged 18+ providing a service across the county of Dorset, and in Southampton, for people registered at either a Dorset or Southampton GP surgery. Steps 2 Wellbeing offer a range of treatments for people experiencing mild to moderate depression and anxiety disorders.

The Freedom Programme Dorset

Help for any woman who has been a victim of or is affected by domestic abuse. Free 12 week courses and support.

This website is the main route to information and services from the NHS. In the Health A-Z section, you will find immediate links with buttons to a comprehensive health encyclopaedia and to Medicines information. You can also use the NHS Direct symptom checker to get information to help you decide if medical attention is required. In the Health Services near you section, you can easily search for local GPs, hospitals, dentists and other services, using place name or postcode.
