Action Space

Visual arts organisation for people with learning disabilities. Runs projects for around London. Run several projects a year in London Borough of Camden working with a variety of art forms. Participants exhibit and sell their work in mainstream arts venues. There are also opportunities for volunteers to help with projects.

Adult Learning Centre Netley Campus

All courses are for adults aged 19+ and give priority to Camden residents. We offer a range of courses in computing, English, work and volunteering and family learning. Some classes are for particular groups, for example, parents and carers. Some classes have a free cr√®che subject to demand. Our classes are informal.

Camden Aftercare Service

Helping people to access training, education and employment opportunities, get involved in activities and volunteering, maintain recovery from substance misuse and develop social skills and self esteem. Structured day programme (the Fuchsia programme), events and one-to-one support. IT drop in at the Margarete Centre to get help with CV writing, job applications etc.

Small business support. . Free advice for small firms and people wishing to start a business including finance, bookkeeping, marketing, e-commerce, legal requirements, insurance, management, manufacturing, new products, how to find premises, rates, tax and training. Office and workshop space for rent in Camden and meeting room and conference facilities.

Centre for Languages and International Education

Evening classes in foreign languages including Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Latin, Mandarin, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Welsh. From beginners to post advanced.

Clarity - Employment for Blind People

Supported factory which provides employment and training for people with visual or other disabilities. Primary business is the manufacture of toiletries and cleaning products.


The programme is targeted at young people who have offended, are at risk of offending or those that may have become victims of crime. The programme offers an intensive 5 day work experience within a tightly structured team environment. The LIFE course allows young people to experience what it is like to be an operational firefighter, during the course participants will get the chance to use hoses, breathing apparatus and work on ladders.
