Employment, Skills and Learning

The Employment, Skills and Learning Team has a critical role within Bristol City Council and the Learning City partnership. The team commissions and delivers high quality and innovative learning and training opportunities for young people and adults as well as working with employers and businesses to identify skills gaps and support people into work.

Here you can find your local job centre offices in and around Bristol. Your local job centre can administer claims Jobseeker’s Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance and Income Support.

Ways 2 Work

Ways2Work operates as part of Bristol City Council to deliver a wide range of support to Bristol residents. Working with partners across Bristol and the West of England we deliver job fairs, circulate information but, most importantly, we link together the various support agencies, colleges and employers in the area to help residents of Bristol secure employment.
